In the mid 1980's The Synthesizer Company (TSC) was the largest supplier of synthesizers and computers to the professional music industry and it was during this era that professionals were presented with the challenge of new technology to compliment their existing expertise.

It was TSC's unique grasp of this technology and the identification of the imminent explosion in personal computing, which led to Computer Warehouse being formed in 1991. The organisation rapidly became the largest Apple reseller and service centre in the UK because it maintained its steady growth of divisions such as TSC.
