Description
The CVALE (Central Valley Area Linux Enthusiasts) is a collection of linux computer operating system devotees living in Lodi, Stockton, Manteca, Tracy, Modesto, and surrounding areas. CVALE was founded in the fall of 1998 and has since evolved into an enthusiastic and robust organization committed to linux promotion, education, and plain old fun.
Monthly meetings and workshops form the backbone of CVALE activities. These are augmented by other fun events like field trips (our latest was to LinuxWorld in San Jose), bbq's, and whatever other zany stuff we can cook up.
CVALE membership is completely free and open to all interested in the linux computer operating system. Whether you are a longtime linux guru, or are considering using linux and want to find out what it's all about, CVALE is the place to come!
