Custom House Baptist church has been around for a while. It was ninety years old the last time we checked. Obviously the original members have gone to be with the Lord but we are grateful for the building and legacy they have left behind through their selfless sacrifice - A guy called Henry Ambrose served as a deacon for 44 years!
We are a growing, family oriented church where everybody knows everybody (You'll hardly remain faceless). Don't let this put you off though; as we say in our church, we are a family, not a cult. We don't get into your 'business' and don't want to know what you don't want us to know. God knows everything about everybody anyway and is quite able to rebuke and correct through His Spirit and His Word.
As Baptists, we believe in the equality of all believers. All are called, and all are called to serve. No chair warmers in our church. We stand on the promises of God, not sit on the premises of God.
