Curfew.org - A group of young people dedicated to ending curfews in the US

Title

Curfew.Org : Fighting Youth Curfews

Description

This site went live on Wednesday, March 24th, 1999. It was envisioned, authored, programmed, designed and is maintained by Munk & Phyber.

Waldo Jaquith, one of the owners of Munk & Phyber, was a plaintiff in Schleifer vs. Charlottesville, a case that was turned down by the Supreme Court in late March. As a result, Jaquith has an ongoing interest (read as: vendetta) in making sure that curfews around the country are struck down by courts or removed by newly-educated City Councilors.

The idea behind this site is to provide ammunition for teenagers and adults that are looking to battle curfews in their hometown. This website is intended to help fight laws passed in localities, not the rules of malls, stores, or other private venues.
