I’d say that if the BoRT and Game Blogging confab had one kind of nut to crack, it deals a lot with how story is transmitted through play in games. Of course, that begins to beg lots of questions about what story, play, and games are, and who is the author of that story. It’s not limited to us, either, but also to professional game writers and designers. Ben Abraham, over on SLRC has been writing a series about playing Far Cry 2 with a self-imposed permanent death mechanic.
