The Committee for a Unified Independent Party, Inc. (CUIP) is a nonprofit political center that develops strategies and provides leadership training for America's growing independent movement. Our mission is to transform the political culture, making it democratic, citizen activistic, and developmental.
Founded in 1994 by Dr. Lenora B. Fulani and Jackie Salit, two of the country's leading specialists in independent politics, CUIP has mounted numerous legal, legislative, and political challenges to bipartisan and special interest control of the electoral process.
