Jeanne is a seasoned travel writer who is the sole author of Lonely Planet's popular Croatia guidebook. After writing the Croatia chapters for Lonely Planet's Eastern Europe, Mediterranean Europe and Europe on a Shoestring, she wrote Lonely Planet's best-selling Croatia 1 in 1998 which was the first guidebook in English to Croatia. She continues to work on Croatia for Lonely Planet. Recently she has produced the third edition of Croatia as well as the Croatia chapters for Mediterranean Europe

For Lonely Planet, Jeanne was also the sole author of Normandy 1, Crete 1 and Crete Condensed 1. She contributed sections to Germany 4, France 5, Brittany and Normandy 1 and Greece 6.

Her articles have appeared in the Miami Herald, San Francisco Chronicle, St Petersburg Times, the Denver Post, National Geographic Traveler and the New York Post.
