- The purpose of criticclub.com is basically to allow a group of our friends to share reviews of movies, restaurants, music, etc. The reason it differs from other sites is that you already know the people who's reviews you are reading. That means you already know whether your taste is similar to their taste. So instead of trying to find a reviewer who likes the same movies you do, you can look to reviews from people you trust (or don't). In order to keep this site useful for this purpose, all users must be approved by an Administrator (Justin or Derrick, and others in future). This means that only people we know will be users creating content. We aren't being exclusive to be cool (lord knows we ain't), but rather to maintain the concept of the site. So if we know you, then sign up and we'll approve you on the ASAP. Then you can add your own reviews and stick it to those uppity professional critics.
