- Following graduation from law school, Mr. Morgan served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 22nd Prosecutorial District in Lexington, North Carolina for one year. Moving back to his hometown of Charlotte, he served as a Mecklenburg County Assistant Public Defender for three years, after a short period in private practice. Morgan later joined a medium-sized multi-state general practice law firm, where he was rapidly named partner and managed all of the criminal cases for the firm. Four years later, he struck out on his own, and has owned a practice with one or two associates since 1989.
