Philosophy
Hi, I'm Cara Rhyner. I own and operate CRhyner Photo out of my studio in Loomis, California. The studio is only a short drive from downtown Sacramento and within a two-hour drive to San Francisco, Napa Valley or Lake Tahoe. Whether photographing children, families or weddings, I will always strive to create images with a fresh, artistic and contemporary style.
As for weddings, my goal is to capture the natural, un-staged moments of the day, reflecting the excitement and emotion in the spirit of photojournalism. And while photojournalism and candid shots are my hallmark, I am aware that you may want photographs taken in various styles. I'll coordinate the appropriate timing for the more traditional poses of family, the wedding party, and more formal shots of the bride and groom during the pre-wedding consultation. I understand the importance of these posed photographs, and will strive to complete them in as quick a fashion as dictated by your needs. Again, my style is natural and I strive to avoid an over-posed look.
