Creative Electric Studios is proud to welcome back Canada based ceramicist Patti Chalmers. Pattie Chalmers is an artist whose interest in narrative, especially the stories she grew up on, shapes much of her current work. The Grimm Brothers, Hans Christian Anderson and Aesop collide with blurry cullings from childhood movies-of-the-week and the half price comics her parents would buy for summer vacation, among other things. This is an invitation only preview event to meet Patti and to discuss her current work “Vreggel Vrips.” This is Patti’s second showing at Creative Electric. We first met Patti in Spring 2004, when she brought us her “Shuffle Step” collection, to outstanding success.
