About Creative Cursor
Creative Cursor Web & Graphic Design was started in February 2002 in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Chandler, Arizona. Since its inception, Creative Cursor has delivered to its clients a personal touch and level of assistance not found in other Web design firms. Rather than giving the client what we THINK they want, we find out what the client wants and deliver it to them. Creative Cursor does not accept final payment on a project unless its client is completely satisfied that the project meets their expectations and agreed upon specifications. Achieving our goal of giving the client what they want requires first that we ask questions and then that we listen.
Additionally, Creative Cursor's level of experience allows us to bring innovative suggestions to our clients for cutting edge website functionality, creative designs and using the latest internet marketing tactics. Creative Cursor relocated to Austin, Texas, in June 2004.
When owner Kelly Churchill graduated from Arizona State University in December 2001, she decided to start a business doing something she loves. After working for ten years as a legal secretary, Kelly was able to realize her dream of going to college. As a young person, she excelled in math and programmed for the first time in high school on an Apple IIe computer so she decided to work toward a degree in a technical field. After changing her mind about what to major in a number of times, she finally settled on studying what seemed most natural to her and entered the College of Engineering & Sciences at Arizona State University with a declared major of Computer Science. After graduating in December 2001 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, she looked at her options and realized starting a business doing Web site and graphic design was what she would be most suited for and would love to do. She studied computer graphics at ASU and has always loved to create-crafts, sewing, decorating. Creating custom graphics and Web sites on the computer is an ideal extension of that creativity and combines the technical knowledge of a degree in computer science.
