- As a young girl, I loved to color, draw and make arts and crafts. I guess you could say I was born with a flare for the arts. In high school, I started to study art more seriously. Drawing started to take on new meaning for me and became a passion of mine. I chose to study art in college and dreamed of becoming a Graphic Artist. That dream held true until I became a volunteer at a shelter for battered women and children. It was there that I discovered my purpose in life...to help others. My life plan quickly changed direction.
