Designed to give today's park and recreation professional state-of-the-art leadership development. The Academy is a positive and interactive training program that focuses on your leadership development. The Academy will be held July 17-19, 2006 in Palm Springs. CPRS welcomes nominations from members interested in serving on the CPRS Board of Directors. Open positions for FY 07/09 are: Vice President (3 year term); Secretary-Treasurer (2 year term); Region 2 (representing Districts IV, V, & VI) and Region 4 (Representing Districts XI, XIII, & XIV) Representatives (2 year term). Regional Representatives must reside or work in one of the districts included within the Region. Candidates for Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer may be statewide. Three different training programs for CPRS members are in the planning stages and are gathering proposals for educational sessions. If you would like to present at any or all of the upcoming educational sessions, please download the appropriate forms.
