"I spent my childhood in the 1950's in Sacramento in the middle of an orchard which was our family business. Pesticides, fungicides and DDT were constantly used. As I grew up, I had many childhood diseases starting from when I was six years old. The list includes mumps, measles, chicken pox, scarlatina and polio. In 1985 I was bitten by a tick and developed Rocky Mountain Spotted fever which affected me so badly that it took over four months to regain my strength. In the years that followed I developed intense and chronic insomnia, brain fog and my ability to handle any kind of stress was very affected. A second tick bite in 2000 left me with heart arrhythmia, and severe fatigue. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease with second to highest titers.
Over the past 20 years I have seen more than twenty doctors, both regular and "alternative." I have done antibiotics with no positive response, IV Phosphatidylcholine and Glutathione detox for two years, and chelation therapy to list a few. All were "standard treatments" as prescribed by the doctors. It has been a full-time job searching for solutions, wading through treatment modalities and Lyme specialists with little and inconsistent results.
I came to see Marc Weill in February 2004 and was relieved to receive a level of care that I had not experienced before. Marc and his staff really listened to me, taking a very thorough history of my problems and using the information and in-house analysis to create a custom protocol of whole food supplements; an experience I had not had before. Marc has patience and a great deal of knowledge, and has acted above and beyond, doing retests and changing the protocol whenever necessary. Along with the using supplements, the direction he has gone with me is in strengthening my immune system, slowly cleansing my body of chemicals and recommending dietary changes that support my digestion.
