- Ron took up diving in 1980 at the request of his wife. "It's all her fault." His love of diving continued and in 1990 he became a PADI Instructor, left the corporate world, and opened his first Dive Center. In 1995, he opened his 2nd store, Coral Reef Scuba & Travel Center. Being a "hands-on" owner, Ron is involved in all facets of the business, with emphasis on retail and travel. He has had the opportunity to travel to many locations in the world often escorting other "water enthusiasts".
