Consolidated Tires, Inc., was established in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1959 by Mr. John Dennis, Jr. At the time, however, the company was known as Consolidated Oil and provided home heating and fueling to local customers. In the early sixties, Mr. Dennis entered the automobile tire retreading market and changed the company's name to Consolidated Tires, Inc. The company provided retail customers with quality retread bias ply and bias belted tires.
