- Quick Auto Parts was founded by Isadore Shochat, in a barn in Hicksville, NY in 1960. Two years later, his son, Sam, joined the company. Shortly after, Quick was expanded and relocated to its current location. As the company was growing, a second store, Concord Auto Parts, was acquired. In 1992, Sam's son, Lloyd, became the third generation to join the family business.
