Description
Lyle A. Waisman is a Chicago-based professional photojournalist who specializes in concert and sports photography. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field and studied photography and shot throughout high school (as staff photographer for his yearbook) and college.
Although Lyle developed a love of photography at an early age, he experienced a renewed enthusiasm after being contracted to photograph a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young concert in April 2002. His passion for photography finally found an appropriate outlet when combined with his love of music. Since then, concert photography has been his primary pursuit. He has subsequently photographed more than 400 artists, and his work has appeared in a wide variety of print and online publications.
Lyle is a member of the Association of Music Writers and Photographers (AMWP) and SportsShooter, and is a Nikon Pro. He is a FilmMagic contributing photographer, and many of his stock images are available there.
