Marc Wilson began his career in Radio Broadcasting where he worked in many formats including News/Talk, Top 40, Hot Country and Sports Talk. From 1996-1999 he was a free-lance sports anchor for the Bengals Radio Network Flagship, WBOB AM 1160 in Cincinnati. After his radio career Wilson launched an advertising and public relations firm. During this time Wilson began consulting Republican campaigns in Kentucky as a Media Consultant and eventually a General Consultant. His campaign record stands at 34 wins and 2 losses.
From 1993-2000 Wilson consulted many of the Republican Majority in the Kentucky State Senate including former Senate President Pro-Tem Dick Roeding, Education Committee Vice Chair Jack Westwood and in 2003 was an advisor to the campaign for State and Local Government Committee Chairman Senator Damon Thayer.
In 2002 Wilson was the General Consultant for Kentucky Congressman Geoff Davis in his first run for office. He served as an unpaid Senior Advisor to Davis in his victorious 2004 campaign.
