This tension, a manisfitation of inadequate technical procedures translates to inexplicable stress cracks months later or more likely catastrophic failures in the kiln during annealing and cooling cycles. The chemistry of glass and it's physical properties must be a thouroughly acquired knowledge to decipher these events and produce consistant successful results. Now, after many years of carefully documented experimentation we are able to push the physical limits of fused glass with startling consistant perfection.
