Title
Collective Visions | a Gallery of Art
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- 1994 as the Washington Avenue Art Gallery. The Washington Avenue Art Gallery, originally dubbed WAAG, was located in the Enetai Building which has now been torn down to make way for Bremerton's new convention center. It was the second gallery to open in downtown Bremerton, forming the core of the Arts District along with Amy Burnett Gallery. These two galleries instituted the monthly First Friday Art Walks, the first of its kind in the west sound area. They were later joined by the Artists Edge, Metropolis and Glitz galleries, as well as many other downtown shops and museums. In 1996 the gallery moved into its current location in the old McBride's Hallmark building and was renamed Collective Visions.
