About Us
Based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey (20 minutes from New York City), Coining of America, LLC., originally Coining Corporation of America was founded in 1965. Initially, Coining produced quartz crucibles and solder stampings. In the 1980’s, Coining began an aggressive expansion plan focused on serving customers (both domestic and international) in the electronics, defense, automotive, communications, and medical industries through the production of high quality precision metal preforms. In June 2001, Coining Corporation of America was purchased and renamed Coining of America, LLC.
Coining has evolved into an integrated manufacturer of soft solder, gold and silver alloys, and clad metal preforms used for metal-to-metal, glass-to-metal, and ceramic-to-metal joining. In addition, we stamp the harder metals of copper, molybdenum, Kovar and tungsten. By controlling entire manufacturing process, tooling, metal processing, stamping, finishing, and quality, Coining is able to service our customers quickly and at competitive prices.
