Who We Are
The Colorado Greyhound Companions was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers in 1994 after realizing the need for a Northern Colorado Greyhound Rescue group. Over the years the CGC has rescued hundreds of Greyhounds from tiny puppies only a few weeks old to seniors that still shine bright even in their final days.
We are a non-profit, volunteer driven program. Our program is run through a deep commitment to the breed, long hours, and donations from the public. The driving forces behind the CGC are a board of directors, members, and of course the hundreds of people who have adopted a Greyhound from us. Without them, we would not exist and for that we are eternally grateful.
