newsmap is another take on the google news aggregator. forget RSS, Twitter etc.. newsmap delivers the news in a color-coded, size dependent on newsworthiness, flash based ‘news squares’. peep the pic to see what i mean. you can select what kind of news and from whichever regions you wish and even customise the colors. very intuitive - google has now been replaced by newsmap as my home page. That’s a statement in itself.
