- Coal Creek Coffee Company is privately owned and operated in Laramie, Wyoming. We are a small, artisan based operation with more than 40 years combined experience in the specialty coffee industry. We've been a member of the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) since 1997, and a member of the Roaster's Guild since it's inception.
Coffeehouses
- Coal Creek Coffee Company's mothership coffeehouse is located in Historic Downtown Laramie Wyoming at 110 East Grand Ave. Our most recent location is located in Fort Colliins, Colorado at 2108 Milestone Drive, which is at the north-east corner of the intersection at Harmony and Timberline. We anticipate opening this store in late June of 2006 and are very excited at the opportunity to share our coffees and love of coffee culture with northern Colorado. Please stay tuned.
Technique
- We roast our gourmet coffees in a state of the art, gas fired, dual blower design, Primo roaster. This is a 12-kilo machine, allowing us to roast in small batches with minimum cooling times. It not only allows us to maintain an extremely high degree of consistency, but also lends a uniquely sweet, smooth flavor to our already incredible coffees.
