Energy Reduction As utility costs continue to increase, the need to reduce energy consumption becomes apparent. A building automation system can reduce costs by scheduling equipment and lighting, reset temperature controls based on load and/or outside air temperature in addition to various other options. Upgrading or replacing older building automation systems with newer technologies can reduce monthly utility system usage.
Remote Control Newer building automation systems offer Internet access capabiliy allowing facility personnel to control their building through the Internet using anything from a PDU to a PC.
