Description
Donna Rose is the Artistic Director of Concepts in Motivation, Inc. She started her dance career 44 years ago as a young child and now has 29 years of experience as a teacher of dance. Her love of dance as a child led her to Towson State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dance Education. While there she danced with the elite Towson State Dance Company.
She performed professionally as a singer and dancer for four years at Kings Dominion starring in shows such as New York, New York; Give My Regards to Broadway and Celebration. She also toured as a singer and dancer for the Department of Defense in Europe and the Middle East. Donna has made several television appearances at national parades to include the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Donna also is the dance instructor at the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, Maryland. Donna is nationally certified to teach all styles of dance through certification by Dance Masters of America, the largest dance teacher organization in the county. She is also nationally certified by Dance Masters of America to give exams. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dance Masters of America and as past president of DMA, Chapter 17.
