Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Who We Are
- American Indian Movement Cleveland was founded in 1972 by Russell Means, and has since maintained the original principles and tenets set forth by the founders of AIM. We are a Traditional Warrior Society — and we promote spirituality, sobriety, sovereignty, and self-determination. Our effort are to promote healthy Indian communities through education, health-conscious lifestyles, protection and preservation of our traditional cultures (which are crucial to our survival), and insuring justice for indigenous people.
