- Founded by Lauren Deutsch and Lindsay Deutsch in 2007, the mission of Classics Alive is to support young musicians and build classical music audiences by exposing youth to the art form using a unique and interactive approach. Classics Alive recognizes that by presenting classical music in ways that are accessible and understandable to young people, music becomes a powerful tool that will enrich the lives of today’s youth and the communities in which they live. By supporting student musicians in their musical studies, we hope to enable them to be successful young adults and eventually successful adults.
