Description
Claritas Limited are a family owned company that commenced trading in 1946. They have had premises in Harrow and now, Greenwich, from where they supply wholesale to the trade. All goods are dispatched via Royal Mail/Parcel Force by the experienced packing department. They also have superb technical knowledge of the trade. The Claritas team only sold to the trade because they could not adequately deal with the telephone queries nor the personal visitors unless they took on more staff. The additional staff would not be as well versed in the trade as the current team and then standards would fall. And so Claritas remained suppliers to the ever-diminishing numbers of independent retailers.
It is difficult for a small company to set up and maintain a web site and an online store whilst continuing to deal with their existing business and thus, Claritas-Online was formed to deal with this side of matters.
Claritas-Online is a partnership of two brothers. Robert does all the work of designing, augmenting and running the site. Colin looks after the finances, does the accounts, makes the tea and generally bosses the workers about. We have known the staff and the proprietors of Claritas Limited for many years and have purchased their products regularly.
