is a county located in the state of Oregon. The county was named after the Native Americans living in the area, the Clackamas Indians, who were part of the Chinookan people. As of 2000, the population is 338,391. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 4,867 km² (1,879 mi²). 4,839 km² (1,868 mi²) of it is land and 28 km² (11 mi², or 0.58%) of it is water.
