I work as the Chief Information Officer for Marin Community Foundation. I have been working in Information Technology for about 11 years. In December 2001, I left my position as an Information Systems executive working for eBay at their west coast auction house, Butterfields to become a chef.
For a little over a year, I studied at the west coast's largest culinary academy and completed an Associate of Occupational Studies in Le Cordon Bleu - Culinary Arts from The California Culinary Academy. I shortly went on to assist in opening a modest 60 seat restaurant in San Francisco as their Executive Chef and then another stint at a second restaurant in Mill Valley. I still live in San Francisco with my honey of over a year enjoying the food and diversity that the city has to offer.
