A new survey by TechAmerica (formerly AeA) ranked Florida the fourth largest in technology employment in the nation. The tech industry lost 38,000 jobs in 2008, a drop of 0.6 percent that let it stay head of other industries. At the same time, the high-tech industry added 383,000 jobs over the last four years, including an additional 77,000 net jobs in 2008.
