Cinemusic is dedicated to film music and the film music enthusiast. We're all about the folks who know the difference between "score" and "soundtrack", the folks who care about the music in previews, who stay during the end credits (if there is score), and who notice when Thomas Newman's style is being ripped-off in a Viagra commercial. We know an entire world that 99% of the human race does not: film music.

Cinemusic is not a site for surfers coming through search engines (though we welcome them too). It's a site for the educated and the interested enthusiast. So when we say "Jerry", you think "Goldsmith" -- not "Maguire".

Cinemusic is primarily focused on score album reviews, and we write our reviews as enthusiasts. Each writer on Cinemusic has their own tastes, and we cover the range of current and past film composers.
