- I hold an earned Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, which is a field of Professional Counseling, with a specialization in Christian Sex Therapy from The Psychological Studies Institute and the Institute for Sexual Wholeness in Chattanooga, TN. Marriage and Family Therapists with a specialization hold eighty-six post bacheloriate credit hours from an accredited institute of higher learning. This is almost double the required amount for Marriage and Family Therapists in the state of Tennessee. I am currently working towards licensure in the states of Tennessee and Georgia. I am completely qualified to counsel and as a requirement for licensure, I meet with a qualified supervisor each week. People who choose to meet with a Masters Level Counselor for therapy will receive the benefit of professional therapy as well as having their case closely monitored through supervision with licensed professionals.
