Succeeded his father, Tommy 'Squeak' Fairhurst in 1994 and is the latest in a long line of trainers at Glasgow House. Chris rode more than fifty jump winners before he became a trainer.
Together the Fairhursts` take a very active 'hands on' part in the running of their yard and can be seen riding out daily.
Any of their owners will tell you that it is more like one big family at Glasgow House Stables and you will always be made welcome when you come to visit your horses...
