Chinook Country Tourist Association is a member-based, not-for-profit organization that has been serving the tourism industry in Southern Alberta since 1969. Our mandate is tourism promotion and development in the area known as Chinook Country. Chinook Country, as a region, borders British Columbia and Montana, and extends north to Calgary city limits, following the Bow River east and including Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park.
