Description

The NPDP Certification Exam is offered at approved testing centers. To take the test you must first complete and send in a Certification Application form (about 30 days prior to the test date).

General Purpose: Establish a strategic direction for R&D activities at SBU Hearing that will meet the needs of the marketplace and the objectives of the company. Responsible for providing the vision, leadership, and management of the R&D functions for SBU Hearing in San Diego and in Sweden. Manage the personnel, expense budget, and capital expense budget resources as well as the planning, directing, and implementing R&D and product development programs to achieve company objectives. Manage the intellectual property (IP) assets of SBU Hearing. Work with all departments of SBU hearing and the MBU organizations. Ensure product compliance with various regulatory and product standards requirements worldwide. Effectively implement the Product Commercialization Process and the ISO 9001 Design Control Procedures for SBU Hearing.

R&D ACTIVITIES: Assess new technologies and their application to drive innovation. Assess the investments made in the R&D as a whole and determines the optimal use of sources to meet company objectives.
