The "Chicago Consultation" emerged from the December 2007 "Full Inclusion" consultation hosted by Seabury-Western Seminary in Evanston, Ill. The meeting gathered some 50 leaders from the Episcopal Church and the wider Anglican Communion to discuss ways to include gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Christians more fully in the life and leadership of the Church.
