It is also a reminder that man is part of the Three Harmonies: Heaven, Man and Earth (Man is in the center as the connection between Heaven and Earth).
Feng shui is not exclusive to China. You will find similar geomancy sciences in India (Vastu Shastra), Vietnam (phong thuy), Japan, Hawaii, Indonesia, and Thailand (hong sui ).
