- Col. Horace Chesnutt began the family business back in 1938 after graduating from high school. He was solo in the buisness until 1963 when Col. Jerry Chesnutt joined him after graduating from Missouri Auction School. Col. Cody Chesnutt followed his father's and grandfather's footsteps and joined the team after graduating from Missouri Auction School in 1994. From estate sales to exotic animal sales, there's not an auction the Chestnutts haven't worked. Today Jerry and Cody carry on the family tradition.
