Many of you may not realize that our classmate, Tami Hills, is one of the many people who used to live in New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina hitting the area on Monday. Tami is safe and trying to make her way back to MI to her parent's home in Petoskey. She is traveling with her boyfriend, Glen, and they have made it as far as TN. They continue to run into challenges along the way, places with no gas, no electricity, etc... the effects are reaching far beyond the direct impact of the storm.
