Charming Shoppes incorporates four different store brands: Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, and two more. In addition, Charming Shoppes Inc. also incorporates Crosstown Traders, Inc. marketer for women's apparel.
Charming Shoppes was founded in Philadelphia in 1940 and at the moment it has over 2300 shops in approximately 40 states throughout the United States. Distribution
Assisting the company’s retail store brand Charming Shoppes has two operating distribution centers. For the Fashion Bug chain stores, there is a distribution center located in Greencastle, Indiana. The facility has just about 1 million square feet and is situated on a 150-acre strip of land. This huge centre has been bought in October 1987 and has the capacity to provide merchandise for 1800 stores. Serving Lane Bryant and Catherines Plus Sizes stores is a distribution centre located at White Marsh, Maryland. The center is approximately 390.000 square feet and it is located on a 29 acres strip of land. The facility was bought in 2002 and has the capacity to provide supplies for just and about 1400 stores.
