About ChangeForGood, Inc.
ChangeForGood.com was founded in the Seattle area in 1998 by Scott Sulak, BCH, CHT. Having been involved with a non-profit holistic growth center Stonehouse Bookstore & Growth Center that has served eastern Seattle for 15 years, he had seen a rising flood of interest in the various practitioners and teachers who were helping the community by assisting in healing and transformation. While healing arts such as Hypnotherapy, NLP, Guided Meditation, Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Yoga and Tai Chi where considered "alternative," they were quickly becoming mainstream. The center purchased a 15,000 square foot facility and became the Northwest's largest holistic healing center. By the fall of 2001, there were 36 on site practitioners offering a wide array of alternative healing arts. In 2003 the facility was acquired and renamed the Kirkland Holistic Center. There are currently more than 45 holistic healing practitioners on site where Scott still maintains a private practice.
The ChangeForGood concept is the same: to create an online community that brings people together with products and services that are aligned with our mission. It is our sincerest hope that whether a visitor to our site buys an audiotape or CD, downloads a free report, or subscribes to our newsletter, that in some way they are brought that much closer to Personal Change for Better Living.
About the Founder, Scott Sulak
A recognized leading expert, specializing in behavior modification, Scott is a Nationally Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Washington State mental health professional. He is an educator who frequently speaks at hospitals and universities on a host of topics relating to personal change and human potential. He is the author of the popular personal change CD series "Get Your Ship Together - Be the Captain of Your Subconscious Mind" and it's companion workbook "The Ship's Manifest." Scott is the host of his own Radio Talk Show and has gained national recognition for his ability to understand the inner workings of the subconscious mind. He holds a bachelor's degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy and is currently working on his PhD in the same field. He is one of the busiest and most experienced professionals in his field.
