CHALET IN THE MOUNTAINS [1] rent two fully equipped self catered chalets in the Chamonix Valley, French Alps [2]. Each chalet is offered for rent for self catered holidays and each provides accommodation for 8 people comfortably. Rent both together and the chalets are an ideal holiday / vacation base for larger groups of up to 16.
Location The rental chalets are located in Les Houches, which is one of the main villages of the Chamonix Valley, and are about 5km from the town of Chamonix. The chalets we rent are situated at the end of a private road next to some woodlands. It is a quiet location, but with easy access to the supermarkets, restaurants and bars of Les Houches and the amenities of Chamonix. From the balcony and garden there is a spectacular view of the forests and the glaciers reaching up the side of the Mont Blanc.
The Chalets The chalets were built to a high standard at the turn of the millennium. They have been tastefully decorated in differing styles, but both retain that special chalet ambience. The chalets are intended to make your self catering holiday a true home from home, with fully equipped kitchens, tv, hifi, dvd satellite (incl british channels), gas BBQ, garden furniture as well as free access to wifi broadband internet.
Independence If the thought of package holidays leaves you cold and if you like the idea of arranging your very own tailor made, independent holiday, then Chalet in the Mountains is for you! We are a small operation, so you get the personal touch. We live in the valley full time and have done for some time, so you have access to a great depth of local experience and knowledge. But that's not to say we're intrusive, call on on us for as little or as much help as you want. That's the beauty of an independent holiday; the perfect way to enjoy the mountains on your own terms!
