Since the period of the 1880’s, there has been a presence of the ancestors of Harris Benjamin who is the founder of CENTURY 21 Benjamin Realty……Harris’s Great uncle Abner Franklin was a Timber Scaler during the period of the heavy timbering of the area in and around the Rose City area in the 1870’s and 1880’s.
Harris was born in a small frame house on his Grandfather Ivan Nye’s farm 2 miles North of Rose City in November of 1931, the son of Franklin and Genevieve Benjamin.
Following schooling and a four year term in the Military during the Korean War, Harris and his family returned to
