Celtic Rosary had it's humble beginnings through a shopping search for a gift for my mother-in-law. She is someone who wants nothing...if you ask her what she would like, she'll tell you that she has everything that she needs.If you give her a gift, you may see it on someone else in the family at some point. as her generosity is grand. I thought a personal gift like a rosary would not be given away, so I began to look and indeed I did, high and low. Nowhere could I find a rosary that satisfied the desire for quality and simplicity that she would be deserving of.
I knew that I could learn how to make rosaries and so I sought out people who were willing to help. I was fortunate to be able to tap into the knowledge of several professional jewelers who were more than happy to share their experience with me. From this seed, Celtic Rosary was born.
Here at the studio, I am dedicated to using simple, yet quality materials. I work exclusively in sterling silver and use semi-precious stone along with fire polished glass to create prayer beads that are organic and alive. I am very aware of the "feel" and weight of a set of beads in the hand. With each rosary that I design, I consider intent and accept all guidance that comes my way!
