All you need to do is
start a new book, then set up an email list to invite your friends.
CelebrateAHero provides an electronic invitation system which contains a direct link to the book so it's not a hassle for you and your friends to be on the same page. You can also choose the layout, the cover and set up a close date.
After you and your family and friends have added the comments, pictures, etc. to the book, you are all set to have it printed. You have a couple of options from which to choose when the book is completed:
