Hiking, biking, X-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding: Explore our logging trails. We’ll share our family haunts with you. There’s the gently winding road along the base of the mountain, Turkey Hill, and a climb to the Picnic Grounds. Further up you’ll ascend Robb Run. Don’t miss Scream Alley--named for our fast descents on cross country skis in winter. Those preferring level terrain will appreciate our fragrant woods, open fields, and farmstead area. Much of the farm is easily accessible.
Wildlife Viewing: Deer, elk and coyotes abound. Occasionally we see a moose, bear, raccoon or porcupine. Badgers and ermine hide out while rabbits and other rodents scamper about.
Fishing: Sage Creek runs along the base of the mountain. Brook trout await a tasty worm. Children 13 and under do not need a license. (Check out our compost pile for worms.)
